DR. NATE ARCHER - SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Nate Archer was called to FBC in 2014. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and received his Ph.D. from Calvin Theological Seminary. He also serves at Cornerstone Seminary as Adjunct Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology. Dr. Archer serves on the leadership council for the Grand Rapids Area Regular Baptist Churches as well as the Council of 16 for Bridge Fellowship, the Michigan Association of Regular Baptist Churches. Nate enjoys hiking at national parks and complaining about how Disney wrecked Star Wars. Nate and Hope have been married since 1998 and together they have four children, Eric, Zoe, Luke, and Joel. Hope is also a graduate of Moody Bible Institute. She also is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and is an elementary grade school teacher. Nate and Hope share the passion of helping the church glorify God through evangelism and discipleship.

Zach Spiller - Associate Pastor of YOUTH and discipleship
Zach received his bachelor’s degree in History from Grand Valley State University in 2017 and completed his master’s in Christian Studies at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in 2022. He has been ministering at FBC since 2020. Zach and his wife Christine have a young daughter named Aria. Zach is an enthusiastic collector of dad jokes. Even more, Zach has a passion to help students understand what they believe, why it matters, and how it glorifies Christ.

Jake Herrera - Worship Director
Jake was called to music ministry at FBC in 2023. He received a Bachelor’s in Musical Arts from Western Michigan University and continued his education with an internship at a church in Kalamazoo, MI in 2022. He and his wife Hannah have been married since the spring of 2022 and share a mutual love of music ministry. Hannah is also a graduate of the School of Music at WMU. Besides music, Jake and Hannah enjoy hiking, reading, and playing games. Jake is passionate about cultivating worshippers who delight in offering their collective voices and lives to praise God.

nina wiersma - office manager
Nina has attended FBC since 2003. She is a graduate of TKHS. Nina loves to serve at the church in many ways, behind the scenes. She enjoys playing softball, volleyball and basketball, being creative making crafts, organizing and spending time with her husband and two children.

Brooklyn Micklatcher - Office Assistant
Brooklyn has been attending FBC with her family since 2010. She enjoys playing piano on the worship team and helping with church administration. Brooklyn and her husband Tanner love to travel up North, exploring God's beautiful creation together.

kim boonstra - custodian
Kim is a longtime member of FBC and is also active in co-leading FBC’s women’s ministries along with Hope Archer. She and her husband, Mart, have four adult sons and three grandchildren. Her biggest passion is discipling women and seeing them grow into the women God calls them to be.

Crystal Biesbrock - CUSTODIAN
Crystal had been attending First Baptist of Middleville since 2016 and is active in women’s and children’s ministries. Her husband, Tim, and her have 3 children. Crystal enjoys homeschooling, gardening, and serving others.
